How do I join WWFCU?

Wayne Westland Federal Credit Union is a community-chartered credit union. That means you can join if you live, work (or regularly conduct business in), worship, attend school, perform volunteer services, participate in associations headquartered in, participate in programs to relieve poverty or distress which are located in, or incorporated or unincorporated organizations located in or maintaining a facility in Wayne County, Michigan.

How much does it cost to open an account?

You only need a minimum of $5 to open a savings account and at least $20 to open a checking account at Wayne Westland Federal Credit Union. You’ll also need to pay a $2 membership fee which goes toward the nonprofits Wayne Main Street and Community Social Services of Wayne County. Both of these organizations are dedicated to revitalizing our community and bettering the lives of local families and individuals. 

How do I open an account?

Just stop by our main branch and bring two valid forms of identification. WWFCU look forward to starting a financial relationship with you. We value all of our members and keep your financial health a top priority. 

Are my deposits insured?

Yes. Your deposits at WWFCU are insured up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund.
